In their own words
The real measure of our outgrower programme is not the hectares under cane or the tonnage delivered. It is the difference it makes in people's lives.
"I have been farming cane with Sukari since 2014. The extension officer visits my farm regularly and helps me understand what my soil needs. The payments are reliable and my children are now in secondary school because of what cane has brought to our family. That is everything."
"Before I joined the outgrower programme, I was farming maize and barely breaking even. Sukari gave me planting material, helped me prepare my land, and connected me to an extension officer who knows cane farming properly. My income has changed completely."
"What I appreciate most is that they pay on time. In farming, certainty matters. When you know your payment is coming, you can plan. You can send your children to school. You can buy inputs for the next season. That consistency is what makes the difference."

Farm Assessment
An extension officer will visit your land to assess its suitability for cane farming, including soil type, drainage, access, and proximity to cane collection routes.
Agreement and Registration
Once your land is assessed and approved, we will formalise our partnership with a clear, plain-language cane supply agreement that sets out pricing, payment terms, and mutual obligations.

We support you through land preparation, planting material provision, and first-season agronomy. Your extension officer will be with you every step of the way.
